生孩子怕痛？ 全球剖腹產數字再創新高
最新的醫學雜誌研究報告，發現全球選擇剖腹產的婦女，正在逐年升高！研究重點不是剖腹產好不好，而是有沒有必要？根據統計，經濟狀況越好的國家剖腹比例越高，北美、西歐、拉丁美洲等地，至少有15個國家超過4成嬰兒都是剖腹生產；專家擔心，當民眾普遍忽略正確的醫療觀念，在不必要的狀況下進行剖腹，除了浪費醫療資源外，也讓自己和胎兒暴露在風險中！
婦產科醫生：「我要讓你看看他，然後護士會幫你們安頓好。」
剛出生的小寶寶靠在母親身上，這一幕感人又珍貴；因為這名產婦歷經10小時分娩，最後寶寶心跳突然加快，緊急剖腹後母子均安。剖腹產，原本是一項挽救性命的手術，現在卻遭到富有國家的濫用；最新一期醫學雜誌研究發現，全球剖腹產數量，從2000年的1600萬人，到2015年暴增到3千萬人，多了將近一倍！
德州農工大學教授 莫里斯：「剖腹產一般來說是安全的，但研究顯示，接受剖腹產的婦女往往不了解其風險。」
巴西這對夫妻選擇自然生產，還將分娩過程放上網路，沒想到引發巴西民眾正反兩面的激烈論戰；因為在貧富不均排名全球第三的巴西，剖腹產被視為有錢人的選擇，自然產被貼上「過時」的標籤；每年有超過半數的寶寶是剖腹產兒，在巴西的高級私人診所，更有高達98%的產婦都選擇剖腹，生產時挨一刀，竟然是社會身分地位的象徵！
巴西私人診所醫生：「這裡的女性不喜歡疼痛的感覺，分娩時很容易感到疲累，剖腹產可以自己選擇日期，還能住進高檔產房、減低生產壓力。」
剖腹產成了奢華流行，沒有費力的生產過程，更標榜產後性生活不受影響等好處，讓巴西婦女搶著當貴婦，醫生也樂得歡迎，因為比起自然產，剖腹生只需要45分鐘到1個小時內就能完成，還多了一筆手術費用，怎樣都是上算！
CNN記者：「剖腹產對醫生來說也很方便，手術不用花好幾小時，一天可以剖腹1個、甚至3個產婦，還能來得及回家吃晚餐！」
剛成為新手媽媽的莎賓娜，打從一懷孕，就打定主意要採取剖腹生產！
巴西新手媽媽 莎賓娜：「媽媽要操心的事情太多了，在孩子臨盆前要怎麼生、是否餵母乳、該接受哪些藥物，選擇剖腹就少了一大煩惱。」
但巴西仍有一小群產婦，想要選擇自然產，快要臨盆的娜塔莉表示，她在巴西看過將近20個醫生，只找到1個願意支持她的人，其他的壓力竟然來自身邊的親人，不但被當成異類，甚至掀起家庭革命！
巴西產婦 娜塔莉：「好多人跟我說：天啊！你是在回到原始人的生活！幹嘛不享受科技帶來的好處呢？」
其實在醫學界觀點中，剖腹產通常會使用的情況，像是胎盤前置、容易造成生產時大量出血；或是分娩前仍有臍帶繞頸的現象，其他像是雙胞胎、妊娠糖尿病孕婦等等，經由醫師評估是否需要後，才會進行剖腹。但醫學期刊研究指出，這類型的比例竟然只占10%到15%；顯示專業的剖腹產建議，被民眾廣泛忽略。
德州農工大學教授 莫里斯：「任何腹部的大型外科手術都是有風險的，普遍的包括失血、感染、麻醉產生的問題，這些都可能致死的。」
剖腹產還有一個代價，就是孩子更容易出現過敏症狀；研究顯示，自然分娩中，嬰兒接觸到母體產道和腸道的菌群，與剖腹產的胎兒相比，後者缺乏建立免疫功能的細菌，大約在3到5歲之間就會開始出現過敏症狀，除了普遍的呼吸道敏感之外，有的孩童會對食物產生過敏。
曼徹斯特大學教授 庫克申科：「提早接觸到菌群能'教育'你的免疫系統，日後不會對無害的事物產生不當的反應。」
對女性來說，生孩子是一輩子的大事，遵循專業醫生建議，不濫用醫療資源，才是對自己、也是對下一代最好的選擇！
